Genital warts spread even without sexual penetration. The usual concept of sex as a penile penetration to the vagina does not hold true with a genital warts infection. It could be transmitted even with a non-penetrating sexual contact. Hence, even if a female is still a virgin, she is still at risk from the disease. In addition, since having the human papillomavirus do not usually have any felt symptoms; one could carry the virus without knowing it. Further more, you have the risk of transmitting the virus to your sexual partner and infect her with a genital warts spread in her genital area.

This viral infection is very contagious and genital warts spread easily from person to person. Even if you are using a condom, you cannot be protected from it since it can grow in the areas around the penis, and on the scrotum and anal area. But at least, using it will have a limiting effect on the virus infection and can also protect you with other forms of sexually transmitted diseases.

Genital warts spread even without any outward symptoms from the person carrying the human papillomavirus. A certain percentage of those who came in contact with the virus do not develop the disease but has the virus in their system. Not having any felt or visible signs does not mean that the person will not infect anyone. In fact, this is more dangerous since anyone who has sexual contact with that person will not know that he or she has already been infected.
