One of the sexually transmissible diseases is the genital warts. What causes it is a virus called human papilloma viruses. It is characterized by growing like ordinary warts in cluster or group. Both men and women may suffer this viral disease as it can be acquired by sexual intercourse.
In rare cases, one may acquire genital warts in the mouth if that person performed oral sex to an infected individual. Although genital warts are curable, it takes time to remove them totally. For women, genital wart symptoms start at the lips of her labia. It may also occur inside her vagina and even to the uterus. Cervical warts usually start as a flat lesion. Symptoms of genital warts may also be seen in the mouth.

There are also cases of genital wart symptoms that are unnoticed. Like other sexually transmissible disease such as HIV, one may not notice symptoms but immediately have genital warts. It is because upon exposure to the papilloma virus, it takes time, about weeks and sometimes months before it will become apparent. There is an incubation period for the viruses to reach its full potential.
